Terms of Usage & FAQ
This document consolidates the Terms of Usage and Frequently Asked Questions for the OneGo platform.
1. What is OneGo?
OneGo is an internal platform created by the People Analytics department operating under People & Culture. The platform allows employees to coordinate voluntary ride-sharing with colleagues commuting to similar locations.
OneGo is:
- A coordination tool
- A voluntary employee initiative
OneGo is not:
- A transport service
- A guaranteed ride provider
There are two key personas on the platform:
- DRIVER – the employee offering the ride
- RIDER – the passenger joining the ride
2. Who Can Use OneGo?
- All D3 employees with a valid Chalhoub domain can access the platform.
- All users can access the platform via the Group's multi-factor authenticator.
3. How Does OneGo Work?
3.1 Driver Ride Creation
A driver may post a ride including route, time, available seats, and passenger gender preference.
- Drivers may schedule multiple future-dated rides.
- Drivers must select one of two trip orientations: Going to Office or Leaving Office.
- Based on the selection, either the pickup or drop-off location will auto-fill.
- Drivers cannot schedule more than one 'Going to Office' ride or one 'Leaving Office' ride per day.
- Trips must always be future dated.
- Maximum available seats per ride is 4.
3.2 Rider Sign-Up
- Riders cannot sign up for more than one 'Going to Office' ride and one 'Leaving Office' ride per day.
3.3 Pre-Ride Modifications
- Drivers may cancel rides before the scheduled pickup time.
- Drivers may modify pickup time and pickup location.
- Drivers cannot modify the number of available seats — the ride must be cancelled and recreated.
- Drivers cannot modify the trip orientation — the ride must be cancelled and recreated.
- Rides with zero sign-ups will automatically cancel at the scheduled pickup time.
3.4 Post-Ride Confirmation
- Fifteen minutes after the scheduled pickup time, both DRIVER and RIDER must confirm whether the ride took place.
- Unconfirmed rides will appear under 'Unconfirmed Rides' on the homepage.
- If the DRIVER marks the ride as unconfirmed, RIDER confirmations will be disabled and the ride will be voided.
- If the DRIVER confirms the ride, at least one RIDER confirmation is required for the ride to be marked complete.
4. Rewards & Points
- Points are credited to the DRIVER once the trip is confirmed by both the DRIVER and at least one RIDER.
- Additional points may be awarded for each additional confirmed RIDER.
- RIDERs receive points for confirming completed rides.
- Points expire within 12 months from the date earned.
- Points are non-transferable and hold no monetary value.
- Points do not represent wages, compensation, or financial entitlement.
5. User Ratings & Feedback
- During ride confirmation, RIDERs may rate their experience on a 1 to 5-star scale.
- RIDERs may additionally indicate whether the DRIVER did not show up or was more than 15 minutes late.
